Gunfire Erupts Near Gurugram University After Student Argument; Suspects Flee

A violent clash erupted between two students near Gurugram University on Thursday night, escalating from a minor argument to a gunshot being fired. The incident caused a significant commotion throughout the campus. Police have registered a case based on a complaint and have initiated a search for the accused individuals.

Sequence Of Events

The conflict reportedly began earlier in the evening during an event held at the university's auditorium. A student, identified as Sahil, had a minor disagreement with another student. Onlookers intervened and managed to calm the situation at the time.

However, the dispute reignited later that night. After 11 pm, as Sahil was on his way home, the accused student allegedly arrived with several companions in a Thar. They called Sahil over, and the argument between them escalated significantly. During this confrontation, a friend of the accused fired a gunshot.

Sahil escaped unharmed by running away from the scene. The sound of the gunshot drew a crowd of people from the vicinity, which prompted the accused and his companions to flee in their vehicle.
