Weather Alert: Over the past few days, several states across the country, including Delhi-NCR, have been experiencing dry weather conditions. As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon has departed from western Rajasthan. Despite the monsoon retreating from some regions of India, intense heat continues to affect parts of Uttar Pradesh. The IMD has issued a fresh alert for rain in states including - Bihar and Kerala.

Delhi-NCR Weather Today?

According to the latest IMD update, there is no rain forecast for Delhi-NCR for the next few days. Light to moderate rain is possible in some areas between September 28 and 30.

Monsoon Begins To Depart From Rajasthan

The monsoon has departed from western Rajasthan. This year, the monsoon's departure came about two days earlier. Normally, the monsoon retreats from western Rajasthan on September 17, however this year, it began its withdrawal on September 15. The monsoon usually departs from the rest of the country by October 15.

Will It Rain In UP And Bihar?

The temperatures are rising in Uttar Pradesh once again. For Friday, the IMD has not issued any alert for the state. A rain warning has been issued for some districts in Bihar.

Schools Closed In Kerala Districts

While many parts of North India are experiencing a combination of heat and rain, Kerala is facing intense downpour. Several districts in Kerala have been experiencing rain for the past few days. The Thiruvananthapuram District Collector has declared a holiday for all educational institutions, including professional colleges For Friday. However, scheduled public examinations will be conducted during this time.

Will Winter Arrive Early This Year?

The monsoon will begin its withdrawal from the entire country on September 30, and winters are expected to arrive by the end of October. IMD has forecast a change in the weather from mid-October. Fog is expected to hit many North India states in November.
