Tamil Nadu Power Cut: The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO), an electricity supply and distribution unit in the region, has announced multiple hour-long power outages in several districts of Tamil Nadu.

The planned electricity disruptions have been announced due to regular maintenance work on Friday. The electricity supply will be affected in several districts, including Coimbatore, Madurai, Theni, and Porur, among others.

Tamil Nadu Power Outage: Timing Of Supply Disruption.

The power outage in Tamil Nadu on Friday will take place at different hours. In some places, the outage will take place for 5 hours, while in others it will last for 7 hours, depending on the time taken by the maintenance within a particular substation.

Coimbatore Power Cut: Affected Areas And Timing

In Coimbatore, the outage will take place from 9 am to 4 pm on Friday in Thomas Park, Kamaraj Salai, Racecourse, Avinashi Salai (from Anna Statue to Collector's Office), Trichy Salai (from Kannan Sector to Ramanathapuram Signal), Puliyakulam Salai, Paduvampally, Kanjapalli, Kakkapalayam, Sokkampalayam, and others.

Madurai Power Cut: Affected Areas And Timing

The power cut in the Madurai district of Tamil Nadu will occur for 5 hours from 9 am to 2 pm. The affected areas include Kottampatti, Sokkalingapuram, Karungalakudi, Gopalapuram, E Perumalpatti, Seela Nayakappatti, Ulapatti, Ponnuvarpatti, Vanthapulicheliyapuram, Cholapuram, Chinnakattalai, Perungamanallur, Vahaneri, Periyakattai, Narasinghampatti, Mangulam, Athur, Poosaripatti, Melur, Thumbaipatti, Usilampatti, Thiruvadhavur, Kottakudi, Saptur, Vanthapuli, Anaikaraipatti, etc.

Thanjavur And Theni Power Cut On Friday: Areas And Timing

Areas in Thanjavur will face an outage from 9 am to 3 pm on Friday. Power outages will occur in areas including Thirukanur Patti, Arputhapuram, Okkanad Keezhayur, Vannipattu, Peraiyur, and Thirunageswaram.

On the other hand, Theni will suffer an affected power supply for 6 hours as a power outage in Theni on Friday will take place from 10 am to 4 pm in Thamaraikulam, Murugamalai, Sothupparai, Vadugapatti, Pudupatti, Kamatshipuram, and its surrounding areas.

Porur Power Outage Today: List Of Affected Localities And Timing

It has been informed that power supply will be suspended in areas including Kundrathur Road, Karambakkam, Madanandapuram, Mount Poontamalli Road, Kerugambakkam, Mugalivakkam, Ramapuram, Chinna Porur, and Kolapakkam from 9 am to 2 pm Today.

The power supply will be restored as soon as the maintenance work is completed.
