Gorakhpur Development Authority Opens Applications For 430 Residential Plots; Deadline Set For Dec 31

The Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) has announced a fresh opportunity for residents planning to build their own homes in the city. Applications have been invited for 430 residential plots under the Raptinagar Extension Township and Sports City schemes. The application process is open online on the GDA’s official website and will continue until December 31.

In the Raptinagar Extension Township in the Manbela area, over 400 plots have already been allocated. The remaining plots have now been made available to the general public. The highest number of plots is in the HIG category, with 127 plots measuring 151-200 sq. m, 95 plots of 201-250 sq. m, and 47 plots of 251-300 sq. m.

Other categories include:

-EWS: 90 plots up to 35 sq. m

-LIG: 13 plots measuring 36-50 sq. m

-MIG I: 1 plot of 51-75 sq. m

-MIG III: 5 plots of 101-150 sq m

Previously, HIG and Super HIG plots were offered through e-auction, similar to commercial land. However, due to limited applications, the GDA Board has decided to allocate these via e-lottery this time, giving general applicants a better chance to secure plots.

Plot Prices (per sq. m):

-EWS: Rs 38,300

-LIG: Rs 39,120

-MIG I & III: Rs 42,000

-HIG: Rs 43,882

-Super HIG: Rs 44,392
