Gorakhpur News: MMMUT Students Achieve Record Campus Placements; Highest Package Touches Rs 59 Lakh

Students of Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur, have achieved record success in campus placements this year, marking a new milestone for the institution. In the 2023–24 session, 1,149 students secured jobs with national and international companies, the highest number so far.

Notably, Aryadeep, a BTech IT student, bagged an annual package of Rs 59 lakh, the highest ever for any student from the university. According to official data, 952 students were eligible for placement this session, of which 859 were selected during their studies, while the overall tally of placed students reached 1,149. Several students received multiple offers, with some securing jobs from more than half a dozen companies.

For the past five years, MMMUT students have consistently been offered packages above Rs 40 lakh, underscoring the growing industry confidence in their talent. Prestigious firms from across sectors have participated in campus recruitment, offering attractive salary packages.

Prof VK Dwivedi, Chairman of the Campus and Placement Cell, said the number of reputed companies visiting the campus has steadily increased. He credited the proactive efforts of the Training and Placement Cell, along with improved teaching and learning facilities, for the record results.

Vice-Chancellor Prof JP Saini added that the university’s improved ranking in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) reflects its growing credibility, which is expected to bring even better placement opportunities in the coming years.
