In its 141st board meeting, the Greater Noida Authority approved the alignment of the proposed Multi-Modal Transport Hub (MMTH) and Multi-Modal Logistics Hub (MMLH), marking a significant step toward integrating both projects into the Master Plan 2041. The move clears the way for metro connectivity to the transport hub and a dedicated railway link between the logistics hub and the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFCC).

The meeting, chaired by Deepak Kumar on Saturday, approved several development proposals presented by CEO NG Ravi Kumar. The Greater Noida Authority and the National Industrial Corridor Corporation (NICDC) are jointly developing the Integrated Industrial Township, the MMTH, and the MMLH. Industrial allocation in the township is already underway, with several units operational. Consultancy agencies have been appointed to advance the transport and logistics hub projects.

A new 3-kilometre railway line will be constructed to link the MMLH with the DFCC via New Dadri railway station on the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor. The alignment of the proposed track, which will enable seamless transportation of goods from local industrial units to Mumbai and Kolkata, has been finalised and will be included in the Master Plan 2041.

The board also approved the alignment of a 1.8-kilometre elevated metro corridor from the Greater Noida Depot to the MMTH. The line, to be built parallel to the 105-metre road, will integrate metro, railway, and inter-state bus services at the Bodaki-based MMTH.

Once operational, the terminal is expected to handle most eastbound train services, reducing pressure on Delhi, New Delhi and Anand Vihar railway stations. Residents of Greater Noida and nearby regions will gain direct access to trains headed toward eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal.

Spread across 15 acres, the facility aims to provide technical training to 8,000-10,000 youths annually, aligning them with industry-focused skill requirements.
