Greater Noida Traffic Advisory: The Uttar Pradesh traffic police has announced a traffic advisory near the Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida for the three-day World Forum of Accountants starting from Friday. The event, organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, started on Friday, January 30 and will continue till Sunday, February 1. According to traffic police officials, around 10,000-12,000 visitors are expected to attend the programme each day.

Greater Noida Traffic Advisory: Diversions

  • Vehicular movement towards the LG Chowk and Jagat Farm will be diverted from the Galgotias Cut towards Sharda University.
  • After the programme, vehicles exiting the venue from the NASA parking will be diverted towards the Trinity Institute to avoid the Expo Mart roundabout.

Parking Restrictions

Traffic police have also made parking arrangements for both VIPs and visitors:
 
  • VIPs will be allowed to park inside the Expo Mart campus through gate number one.
  • Visitors have to park their vehicles outside the venue in front of Gates nine to 12.
  • Additionally, visitors also have the option to park their vehicles at the NASA parking facility in Knowledge Park.

Shuttle Services Available From Metro Stations

Special cab service is also available from the ITO metro station in Delhi and the Botanical Garden metro station in Noida. Visitors can also get a shuttle service from the Pari Chowk metro station, located on the Aqua Line metro.
 
To assist the commuters, the traffic police have also issued a helpline number (9971009001).

Why Is The Forum Important?

The forum will be an important knowledge-sharing platform bringing together leaders, policymakers, industry innovators and young professionals to exchange, partner, and inspire important financial policies. The World Forum of Accountants aims to bring accountants to act as catalysts for change and bridge gaps between governments, businesses and communities.
 
Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal will visit the forum, while Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is expected to visit on Saturday.
