Six members of a family, including two children, fell severely ill after consuming momos in Greater Noida’s Omicron 3 area on Sunday. The children were admitted to the ICU, while the other family members were treated in the emergency ward at the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS). Doctors suspect food poisoning as the cause of the incident and all six are currently receiving treatment.

The ordeal began on the evening of September 27 when Gaurav Singh, a family member, brought momos from a market in Eldeco Society. According to Bhanu, a relative, the family ate the momos around 8 PM. Shortly after, all six experienced a rapid deterioration in health, with the children, aged four and six, facing critical conditions. Neighbours helped rush the family to GIMS for medical assistance.

Due to the severity of the children's condition, they were shifted to the ICU, while the other members remained under observation in the emergency ward. Doctors confirmed food poisoning as the probable cause.
