Jewar-Faridabad Greenfield Expressway: Construction on the first section of the Greenfield Expressway, connecting Noida International Airport to the Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal (KGP) Expressway, is nearing completion and is expected to open by July. Once operational, the expressway will reduce travel time to the Noida International Airport for local residents and commuters from Palwal.

Work on the second section, connecting the Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal Expressway to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, is currently underway and is scheduled for completion next year, according to Jagran.com.

Jewar-Faridabad Greenfield Expressway: Check Details

- Spanning 31 kilometres, with 24 kilometres in Haryana and 7 kilometres in Uttar Pradesh, the expressway originates at the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Link Road near Sector 65, Faridabad.

- To facilitate the construction of the expressway, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has acquired thousands of acres of land across 12 villages in the Faridabad region, including Sotai, Machhagar, Bahbalpur, Phaphunda, Panhera Khurd, Gadkheda, Narhawali, Chhainsa, Hirapur, Nariyala, Mohana, Bagpur, Nangaliya, Solda, and Bholda.

- Construction on the 31-kilometre Greenfield Expressway, connecting Faridabad and the Noida International Airport, is currently underway, with the first section slated for completion in July 2026.

- Managed by Apco Infratech, the project is currently focused on the completion of a six-lane bridge over the Yamuna River, which is on track and is expected to be finished by June, Jagran.com reported.

- Once fully operational, it will serve as a vital link connecting the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal (KGP) Expressway, and Yamuna Expressways, providing seamless access to both Noida International Airport and Indira Gandhi International Airport.

- Speaking to Jagran.com, an official stated that the 31-kilometre stretch will be open to the public by next year, significantly reducing travel time and easing the flow of traffic across the National Capital Region (NCR).
