Elevated Road to Ease Traffic Congestion

In a parallel development, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has cleared the way for a new elevated road from DND Flyway to Mahamaya Flyover in Noida. Responding to a request from Lucknow MLA Rajeshwar Singh, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari signalled approval for the 4-5 km long flyover, intended to alleviate heavy traffic between DND Tollway and Mahamaya Flyover.

Currently, traffic from Delhi’s Ashram and Sarai Kale Khan converges on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, causing jams from Film City in Sector-16 to Mahamaya Flyover. The new elevated road is expected to facilitate smoother travel for nearly five lakh vehicles daily, reducing congestion significantly.
