In a major relief for allottees, the Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) has introduced a new property management software, allowing users to access details about their allotted properties, outstanding installments, deposited amounts, and interest from the comfort of their homes.

The software was launched on March 26 by KDA Vice President Madan Singh Garbyal in the authority’s auditorium, in the presence of senior officials. Previously, allottees had to visit the authority in person to apply for information regarding their payments and dues, leading to delays and inefficiencies.

Now, with the new software, they can retrieve all necessary details online and even make payments digitally or generate a challan for HDFC Bank transactions. The system will automatically update payment records in real-time.

This initiative is expected to streamline operations by reducing manual paperwork, minimising errors, and saving time for both allottees and KDA employees. Additionally, it will enhance financial tracking, provide real-time data on defaulters, and help identify vacant properties.

Key Benefits of the Software:

-Instant Access: Allottees can check property details, outstanding amounts, interest, and penalties online.

-Error-Free Financial Tracking: Ensures accurate record-keeping for both KDA and allottees.

-Real-Time Defaulter Monitoring: KDA can track overdue payments efficiently.

-Vacant Property Identification: Helps KDA manage available properties better.

-Time-Saving & Increased Revenue: Digital automation reduces paperwork, allowing staff to focus on other critical tasks, potentially boosting KDA’s income.

The new software will soon be implemented across other KDA schemes to further enhance efficiency.
