Kaushambi News: Woman Attacks Man’s Genitals With Sharp Weapon After Argument; Probe On

A young man was hospitalised after a woman injured his genitals with a sharp weapon following a quarrel in a village in the Manjhanpur area in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district on Tuesday. Police have taken the woman into custody and are probing the case while no complaint has been filed by the victim so far. 

According to the police, the woman and the young man were neighbours and had a heated argument over some issues. She then went to her house and came back with a sharp weapon. She slashed the young man’s private parts before he could defend himself. 

The man fell to the ground, bleeding heavily after the assault by the woman. His screams alerted the villagers, who rushed to help him. They called the police, who arrived at the scene and detained the woman.

The reason for the savage attack is not known yet and police are interrogating the woman. Manjhanpur Inspector Santosh Kumar Sharma said that the case will be formally registered only after getting the complaint. He also said that the villagers and the victim’s kin are not stating anything about the incident and are withholding information from the police.
