The series of IndiGo Airlines flight cancellations continued on Friday, leaving passengers stranded at Lucknow Airport. IndiGo Airlines officials were reportedly not providing any information to the passengers. Furthermore, passengers who had arrived in Lucknow were struggling to retrieve their luggage even a day later.

Passenger Ordeal

No Alternative Flights: Jagtap Rao, a resident of Pune, had booked tickets for himself and his wife to travel from Lucknow to Pune via Ahmedabad. When they reached the airport, they were informed that their flight had been cancelled. He stood in line at the IndiGo counter for an hour hoping to book a ticket on another flight.

At the counter, he was informed that flights to Ahmedabad were cancelled until the December 8. Consequently, he was unable to find an alternative flight and is now forced to bear the cost of a hotel stay. Left with no other option, he contacted a travel agency to arrange travel to Pune by cab.

Fourth Day Of Disruptions At CCS Airport

Flight services at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow remained disrupted for the fourth consecutive day on Friday. In the morning, Air India flight AI 1717 from Delhi to Lucknow was cancelled. As a result, the return flight could not take off from Lucknow either.

Delays On International Routes

The IndiGo Airlines flight arriving in Lucknow from Abu Dhabi was also cancelled. Meanwhile, the IndiGo flight from Sharjah departed with a delay of eight hours. The Jaipur-Lucknow flight (6E 1482) was delayed by one hour. Additionally, six flights departing from Lucknow faced delays, causing a large crowd of passengers to gather at the airport.
