Passenger Ordeal
No Alternative Flights: Jagtap Rao, a resident of Pune, had booked tickets for himself and his wife to travel from Lucknow to Pune via Ahmedabad. When they reached the airport, they were informed that their flight had been cancelled. He stood in line at the IndiGo counter for an hour hoping to book a ticket on another flight.
At the counter, he was informed that flights to Ahmedabad were cancelled until the December 8. Consequently, he was unable to find an alternative flight and is now forced to bear the cost of a hotel stay. Left with no other option, he contacted a travel agency to arrange travel to Pune by cab.
