At the fifth Research Day program at Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences on Friday, cardiologist Dr Sudhir Rathore highlighted the significant benefits of modern technology in patient care, particularly the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) apps for precise heart health monitoring.
Dr Sudhir explained that these AI-based apps are successful in diagnosing and treating heart diseases. By identifying potential risks in otherwise healthy individuals, the app can help save lives through timely detection. This technology can also help address the shortage of cardiologists. He noted that AI is proving beneficial in reducing deaths from heart attacks and is also being used in cardiac rehabilitation. The program was inaugurated by Director Prof CM Singh and Prof (Dr) NK Arora, Executive Director of The INCLEN Trust International.
