There is welcome news for the allottees of the Sardar Patel Housing Scheme in Dalibagh, built on land reclaimed from mafia figure Mukhtar Ansari. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has announced that possession of the flats will be handed over to beneficiaries upon the deposit of just 25 per cent of the total cost.

Possession Process Expedited

LDA Vice-Chairman Prathmesh Kumar stated that all 72 flats in the scheme have already been allotted. He urged the allottees to complete the necessary formalities promptly to begin residing in their new homes.

Payment Requirement: Allottees can gain possession by depositing approximately Rs 2.50 lakh (25 per cent of the total cost).

Registration: Possession follows the registration process, which can be initiated immediately after the deposit.

Timeline: Construction began in December 2023. The project was completed over a span of two years.
