Lucknow To Host Job Fair On December 6; Over 1,500 Vacancies On Offer | Details

A job fair will be organised on December 6 at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Aliganj, Lucknow, offering employment opportunities to ITI graduates and other qualified candidates. 

A total of 29 companies will participate, aiming to fill more than 1,500 vacancies across sectors such as automobile, electronics, manufacturing, insurance, technical services, marketing, telecom, e-commerce and security services.

Principal Rajkumar Yadav said that, along with job placements, 512 candidates will also be selected for apprenticeships under the PM Internship Scheme. According to placement in charge, MA Khan, diploma holders, BTech graduates, intermediates and general graduates are eligible to attend. The fair will begin at 10 am.

The Employment Department has provided jobs to 6,273 youths through 47 job fairs since January, while offering counselling and employment-related information to over 10,000 candidates.

Assistant Director of Employment Suryakant Kumar said that opportunities are regularly provided to candidates registered with the Lalbagh Employment Office, and unemployed individuals can also register on the department’s website, rojgaarsangam.up.nic.in.
