Under the Chief Minister Tourist Places Development Scheme, the government has approved Rs 16 crore 35 lakh 75 thousand for the development of 34 tourism-related projects across the Lucknow division.

Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh stated that the funds will be directed toward the development of temples and pilgrimage sites, particularly in Lakhimpur Kheri district, including locations in Sadar, Palia, Srinagar, Dhaurahra, and Kasta Assembly constituencies.

Key projects include:

-Sheetla Mata Temple in Malihabad, Maa Kalika Devi Temple in Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT), and the ancient Shiva temple in Cantt, Lucknow

-Hanuman Temple and Hulaskheda site in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow

-Naval Shaurya Museum near Ekana Stadium in Sarojini Nagar, and Ravindralaya in Charbagh, Cantt Assembly

-Sant Ravidas Temple in Barabirwa, Kanpur Road and Digambar Jain Temple in Lucknow East

-Tourism Bhawan (Gomti Nagar), second-floor upgradation

In Unnao district, development work has been sanctioned for:

-Thakurdwara Temple (Bandakheda), Mahadev Temple (Behta, Mujawar Village), Bhingi Hanuman Temple (Safipur)

-Billeshwar Baba Dham (Purwa), Vindeshwar Mahadev Temple (Bangarmau), Kalika Mata Temple (Bhagwant Nagar)

-Banana Devi Temple (Mulahimpur) and Nagadeshwar Trust Temple (Munnekheda, Hasanganj block)

The initiative aims to boost religious tourism and improve infrastructure at heritage and spiritual sites across the region.
