Mahakumbh 2025 Cultural Events: The Mahakumbh will begin cultural events on February 7, bringing India's artistic legacy to one of the world's largest religious gatherings. The Culture Department has completed all preparations for the impressive performances that will showcase some of the nation's most renowned artists over four days at the Ganga Pandal, the Uttar Pradesh government said in a statement.
Check Exciting Line-Up Of Performers
The line-up includes performances by Odissi dancer Dona Ganguly on February 7, playback singer Kavita Krishnamurthy on February 8, classical dancer Sonal Mansingh and singer Suresh Wadkar on February 9, and acclaimed singer Hariharan on February 10.
Presenting a "confluence of cultures," the performances seek to capture the creative and spiritual spirit of the Maha Kumbh.
In addition to Dona Ganguly, the wife of former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly, Sufi singers Yogesh and Abha Gandharv, Karnataka-based classical musician Suma Sudhindra, and Dr Devkinandan Sharma from Mathura, who will perform Rasleela, will all be performing on February 7.

Playback singer Kavita Krishnamurthy and violinist Dr L Subramaniam will perform on February 8. On this day, there will also be a Sarod recital by Narendra Nath from West Bengal, a Manipuri dance by Preeti Patel from Kolkata, and another Rasleela performance by Dr Devkinandan Sharma.
According to the government statement, the Rasleela performance will continue on February 9 along with the Sugam Sangeet performance by well-known singer Suresh Wadkar, Hindustani classical music by Padma Shri Madhup Mudgal from Delhi, and Odissi dance by Sonal Mansingh.
The last day of performances on February 10 will feature a Sugam Sangeet recital by Hariharan, an Odissi dance performance by Shubhda Varadkar from Mumbai, and a Carnatic music presentation by Sudha from Tamil Nadu, according to the announcement.
According to a government statement, all cultural activities will be postponed from February 11 to 13 due to the sacred Magh Purnima Snan on February 12.
