In a significant crackdown, the Parikshitgarh police arrested seven individuals, including a woman, for their alleged involvement in cow slaughter inside a residence in Asifabad village.

The Raid

According to police officials, the operation was launched following a tip-off received on Tuesday night, indicating that illegal slaughter was taking place within a house in the village. Acting swiftly on the intelligence, a police team conducted a raid and apprehended the accused from the spot. Authorities recovered 10 kg of meat from their possession.

The Accused The arrested individuals have been identified as:

- Najakat, a resident of Khijri village, Yamunanagar district, Haryana.

- Arsad, Shahrukh, Farukh, Razzaq, and Usman, all residents of Chausana village under the Jhinjhana police station area in Shamli.

- Razzaq’s wife, a resident of Jhabba Puri under the Parikshitgarh police station area.

Legal Action

The police have registered a case against all seven accused under the Cow Slaughter Act. Further legal proceedings are underway.
