Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut, has reopened online registrations for postgraduate (PG) and undergraduate (UG) courses, offering students a final opportunity to secure admission for the 2025-26 session. Registrations are open from September 23 to 25 and cover all certificate and diploma programmes on campus and in affiliated colleges, except for MPES and BSc Physical Education, Health Education, and Sports courses.

The announcement, made by Professor Bhupendra Singh, admissions coordinator at CCSU, allows students who have not yet secured admission to complete the process before the deadline. UG courses covered include BA LLB, BCom LLB, and other undergraduate-level certificate and diploma programmes.

Meanwhile, student unrest over university mismanagement continued. On Monday, students held a foot march from Meerut College to the statue of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar on the university campus, protesting issues such as corruption and administrative inefficiency. 

A 12-point memorandum was submitted to CO Civil Lines Abhishek Tiwari, addressed to the Governor, demanding action based on the university’s audit report and an end to brokerage practices for marksheets, degrees, and migration certificates.

Participants in the protest included Advocate Adesh Pradhan, Anuj Bhadana, Akash Bhadana, Vijit Taliyan, and Aditya Panwar, among others.
