The Awas Vikas Parishad’s new township project is moving ahead at a rapid pace under directives from the headquarters, with the digital land survey currently underway in Meerut. Preparations are in progress to conduct a drone survey in the next phase, officials said.

TNTS Engineering & Consultant Private Limited has been appointed to carry out the survey for the 610-hectare development, which spans 10 villages. The proposed residential township is located between the Bijli Bamba Bypass, Hapur Road, the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, and the Meerut–Hapur railway line.

The digital survey aims to map the exact location and size of all existing structures on the land to be acquired, enabling accurate planning and layout of the township.

Following the gazette notification, authorities invited objections from landowners. According to Executive Engineer Sasmit Katiyar, around 1,400 objections have been received so far. Farmers were asked to submit objections in October, and those still wishing to present their case can visit the office to do so.
