A fire broke out suddenly on Monday night at the National Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences, located on the Meerut-Hapur Road. The blaze originated in the institute's server and record room. Fortunately, there have been no reports of any casualties.

Incident Details

Cause: A short circuit is reported to be the primary cause of the fire.

Discovery: The incident was discovered when people noticed smoke emanating from the room and immediately alerted the management.

Alert: The nearby police station was verbally notified of the situation.

Response: The fire spread rapidly, but firefighters, college staff, and officials arrived promptly. After considerable effort, the team managed to bring the blaze under control.

Damage Assessment

It is feared that the institute has incurred significant losses due to the destruction of critical infrastructure and data.

Destroyed Items: Important files, administrative records, computers, and the main server.

Official Response

The college administration has launched a formal investigation into the incident. They have also stated that security measures will be strengthened immediately to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
