Administrative approval has been granted for a road development project worth around Rs 17 crore in Siwalkhas, Meerut, aimed at widening and strengthening five key routes in the region. The initiative, jointly pursued by Legislative Council members Ashwani Tyagi and Dharmendra Bhardwaj, is expected to provide major relief to residents who have long faced difficulties due to the poor condition of the roads.

According to officials, both members had submitted detailed proposals to the government nearly five months ago, highlighting the pressing need for repairs and upgrades. The proposals have now received formal approval, and the Public Works Department (PWD) will soon receive the allocated funds to begin construction.
