Meerut Traffic Advisory: In anticipation of heavy traffic congestion, the Meerut Traffic police have announced traffic diversions and restrictions for Bhai Dooj on October 23. The measures aim to ensure smooth traffic flow across the city and along the Delhi-Dehradun Highway.

According to the advisory, key routes are expected to see diversions, and additional police personnel will be deployed across the city to manage the situation. Commuters are advised to follow the official guidelines and plan their journey using alternate routes to avoid delays.

Meerut Traffic Advisory: Check Restrictions, Diversions And Alternate Routes

- No vehicle will be allowed to go from the Commissioner’s Residence Square (Saket Square) towards Mall Road.

- Vehicles from the Commissioner’s Residence Square can go directly via Baijal Bhawan Square through Lalkurti Market towards Zeromile Square.

- Vehicles on Mall Road will be allowed to move only from Tank Square towards the Commissioner’s Residence Square (Saket Square).

- No vehicle from Zeromile Square can go via Lalkurti Market towards the Commissioner’s Residence Square. Instead, vehicles will be diverted from Mall Road to reach the Commissioner’s Residence Square.

- Vehicles coming from the Mawana side can turn right from Ganganagar Drain via Home Guard Square and proceed along Mall Road via Indian Bank Cut and MES Cut towards Tank Square.

Advisory For Commuters

The Meerut Traffic Police have advised commuters to avoid unnecessary travel during the affected hours.
