A woman from Muzaffarnagar has filed a complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), accusing a man from Sardhana of raping her after sedating her, filming the act, and defrauding her of Rs 1,300,000 under the guise of buying a flat.
Background Of The Victim
According to the complaint, the victim had converted her religion four years ago to marry a Hindu man. Following a dispute with her husband, she began living separately in a rented house. During this period, she came in contact with the accused.
The Incident And Allegations
The victim stated that the accused promised to marry her and proposed purchasing a flat in the Supertech project on the Bijnor Bamba Bypass. Trusting him, she gave him Rs 1,300,000 for the property purchase.
The complainant alleges that the accused subsequently administered a drugged cold drink to her and raped her while she was unconscious. He also recorded a video of the act. Afterward, he abandoned her at the Bhainsali bus stand and fled.

Blackmail And Police Action
When the victim demanded the return of her money, the accused threatened to upload the obscene video to the internet.
Taking cognisance of the complaint, SSP Dr Vipin Tada has ordered the in-charge of the Brahmpuri police station to investigate the matter thoroughly and take strict action.
