National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav on Monday inspected the ongoing construction of a major interchange connecting the Yamuna Expressway and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE), as well as an 8 km link road designed to connect Noida International Airport to the national highway network.

Chairman Yadav reviewed the progress of the cloverleaf and loop arrangements at the interchange, which is being built at Rs 400 crore near Jagunpur Afzalpur village at the 10 km point of the Yamuna Expressway. The NHAI Chairman also inspected the construction of the 8 km, 30-metre-wide link road and the 750-metre-long secondary access road. He urged the contracting agency and officials to coordinate closely with the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), the Airports Authority of India, and the state government to ensure timely completion before the airport becomes operational.
