The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is making final preparations to open the interchange providing direct connectivity to Noida International Airport from Delhi-NCR, Agra, and Mathura ahead of the airport’s inauguration on October 30. Currently, the Yamuna Expressway serves as the primary access route to the airport. The Yamuna Authority is expediting the completion of a 60-metre road alongside the expressway to improve connectivity.

The newly constructed interchange links the airport with both the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway, while an 8.5 km, four-lane road from the Yamuna Expressway will serve the cargo hub.

During the inauguration event, this interchange and road will function as the main route, while the Jewar-Bulandshahr road will be reserved for private vehicles and buses attending the public event. The route will also act as a reserve option for VIP movement, including the Prime Minister and Chief Minister.

Plans are underway to connect the airport to all major NCR road networks, including the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Ganga Expressway, NH-24, and GT Road. Land acquisition is in progress for the Ganga Expressway connection, while the Yamuna Authority is developing two additional connecting routes to enhance accessibility.
