The Noida Authority staff were made to stand next to their chairs and work for 20 minutes by the CEO. This came immediately after an elderly man in Noida, who visited the residential plot department of the Noida Authority to some paperwork done, was forced to stand for more than an hour while a staff member sat idle.

After learning about this, the Noida Authority's CEO wrote a message instructing the employees to address the matter immediately. The employees did not help him and instead delayed.

The CEO personally visited the department, frustrated by their carelessness, and forced the employees to stand next to their chairs and work for 20 minutes. Since then, a video of the incident has become viral on social media.

All of the employees are shown standing and working in the now-viral video as a form of punishment for improperly handling visitors who ask for help with property-related issues.

The CEO reportedly put CCTV cameras in all public spaces and departments to keep an eye on building activity.

“I noticed through CCTV that one of our staff members was sitting idle, without bothering to attend to the visitors properly. I saw a senior citizen standing for over an hour and the staff was not addressing his grievances," Lokesh M, CEO of the Noida Authority, told Hindustan Times.

He added, “I sent a message asking him to tend to the issue without delay. But still, the senior citizen remained standing as the staff wasn’t resolving the issue related to property transfer."

According to reports, the Sector 6 office receives roughly 1,000 visitors every day, many of whom regularly voice their displeasure with the staff's unpredictable conduct.
