Noida Crime News: A young woman was killed by her husband in Jaganpur village, Dankaur Kotwali area, on Saturday morning. The dispute, related to dowry, involved Deepak Bhadana, who shot his wife Nidhi after a disagreement over the sale of a Fortuner car, which was part of her dowry.

Bhadana, a resident of Jaganpur for the past 12 years, married Nidhi, from Sarai Kalekhan in Delhi, four years ago. They have a two-year-old son and a one-month-old daughter. Nidhi's father, Harveer Singh, had reportedly married off his daughter with great fanfare and provided a Fortuner car worth Rs 45 lakh as part of the dowry. However, despite this gift, the in-laws were apparently not satisfied and continued to demand more dowry from the family.

Tensions boiled over when Bhadana sold Fortuner car four days ago, which prompted Nidhi to express her displeasure. In a fit of rage, Deepak Bhadana, along with his brother-in-law Tarun and mother-in-law Mundresh, allegedly tried to strangle Nidhi. When that failed, they shot her in the neck, leading to her death.

The news of the murder quickly spread and the deceased's maternal family members arrived at the scene, creating a ruckus and demanding the arrest of the accused. The police, led by ADCP Ashok Kumar Sharma and ACP Sudhir Kumar, intervened and managed to pacify the crowd by assuring them of action.

Authorities are actively conducting raids to apprehend the other accused who have fled the scene.
