In a significant development in the Noida double death case, a 32-year-old man allegedly shot his 26-year-old partner dead before killing himself inside a parked car in Sector 107 on Saturday morning. Police said the firearm was found in the man’s right hand at the scene.
The couple had reportedly been together for nearly 15 years. Preliminary investigations revealed that the man took the step after learning that the woman was planning to marry someone else due to family pressure.

What Man Said Before Committing Crime?
The man allegedly sent a message to his family and said, “I am going to end my life and the woman is responsible for my death. In the 15 years of our relationship, she promised me marriage but now she is going to marry someone else. Due to this, I am going to end my life as she cheated on me", according to the Hindustan Times report.
The incident took place just about two kilometres from the woman’s home in Sector 101. Officials said there were no CCTV cameras installed in the immediate area where the vehicle was discovered. Investigation teams are now reviewing footage from adjoining roads to trace when the two arrived at the location.
According to HT, after sending the message, the man switched off his phone and could not be contacted, while the woman’s phone was also found switched off later, according to her family. Police said they are examining the authenticity of the message. The man, who operated a water plant business, lived with his family in Delhi’s Trilokpuri, while the woman resided in Sector 101, Noida, and was employed at a private company.
What Both Families Said?
“My brother used to pick up and drop the woman from office to home for the past several years. On Friday, around 5pm, he left home to pick her up. Minutes later, my wife received a WhatsApp message from an ISD number, which triggered panic in our home," man’s elder brother said.
The woman’s father said that the accused had approached their family with a marriage proposal nearly a year earlier, which they declined. Following the refusal, the two appeared to have cut off contact, and the family believed there was no further communication between them.
He added that they had no knowledge of the two staying in touch. At the time, the family was not considering her marriage, as they were preoccupied with other personal matters.
