Noida Traffic Rules:  The Noida traffic police are taking a strong stance against reckless drivers, focusing on revoking the driving licenses of repeat offenders and those who consistently violate traffic rules. Authorities are particularly targeting drivers with black-tinted windows and those who disregard road safety regulations.

In addition, the traffic and transport department is actively gathering data on such individuals. The increasing number of road fatalities is a major concern, with more lives being lost each year. The aim is to reduce this alarming trend.

Both the traffic police and the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, are committed to lowering the number of road accidents. The approach combines strict enforcement of traffic laws with public awareness campaigns to promote safer driving habits.

The traffic police in the district are actively raising awareness about traffic rules among the public. Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh has released a video message, which is being displayed at key intersections throughout the district. In addition, audio messages are being broadcast via the public announcement system to further educate drivers.

New awareness boards have also been installed at major intersections. DCP Traffic Lakhan Singh Yadav emphasized that while efforts are being made to educate people about traffic rules, strict action will be taken against those who continue to disregard them. Repeat offenders will be identified, and their licenses will be revoked through coordination with the RTO.

No Helmet No Fuel Initiative

Starting from January 26, the Gautam Buddha Nagar Commissionerate and Traffic Police have implemented a new rule aimed at promoting road safety. At petrol pumps, fuel will not be provided to drivers or passengers who are not wearing helmets. This initiative is designed to encourage people to wear helmets while riding and raise awareness about traffic safety. The traffic police are actively monitoring this enforcement to ensure compliance.
