Noida News: The Passport Seva Kendra at the Sector 19 Head Post Office has been expanded, making passport applications and verifications significantly smoother. The center has added a new machine along with additional essential resources and service counters to improve efficiency.

Senior Postmaster Manoj Kumar said that three more counters will soon be operational, supported by two additional machines and other required facilities. With all five counters functional, the center will be able to process up to five times more applications per day than it currently handles.

No Need To Go To Ghaziabad

Currently, the center accepts 45 applications a day and schedules applicants for verification. This number has now been increased to 90. With the addition of new counters, the capacity will rise further, allowing the center to accept more than 250 applications daily. Senior Postmaster Manoj Kumar noted that earlier, limited appointment slots forced people to wait several days for an available date.

With the new counters operational, the number of applications has increased and the overall process has become faster. The expanded setup has made securing an appointment much easier. There are no long waiting times or slot shortages now. Faster processing also means applicants no longer need to travel to Ghaziabad for passport-related work.
