Noida School Holidays: Holidays were declared for class one to eight in all schools of Gautam Buddha Nagar from Friday, January 3. This decision has been taken in view of the safety of school children due to prevailing cold wave conditions and fog. District Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar has sent a letter to the principals of all schools in this regard and given instructions.

According to BSA, District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has given instructions for declaring holiday in schools. He said that the cold has been increasing continuously  the last few days. Along with this, there is dense fog in the morning. In such a situation, children coming to school in the morning will face problems.

Noida School Holidays: Strict Action Against Non-Compliance

This instruction is applicable to schools run under UP Board, CBSE, ICSE and IB etc. It is stated that if any school ignores the instructions and opens the school on a holiday and conducts classes, strict action will be taken. It is also stated that instructions have been given to keep the schools closed till the next instruction of the District Magistrate.

Noida School Holidays: Noida Weather

District Public Health Expert Dr Amit Kumar has instructed all hospitals and health centers to make proper arrangements. He has also informed everyone about the rules by holding a meeting. On the other hand, the pollution level (AQI) of the city remains around 140 in the average category, while the air quality of Greater Noida was in the poor category.
