Noida Skywalk: In a major infrastructure boost, a magnificent skywalk will be built in Noida at a cost of Rs 43 crore, which will directly benefit eight lakh people. After the drawing design of the skywalk to be built at the Sector-62 Model Town roundabout was finalised by IIT, on Monday, Noida Authority CEO Dr Lokesh M approved the Noida Traffic Cell to build it. Now its tender will be issued soon, according to Jagran.com.

The skywalk is estimated to be 530 metres long and 4 metres wide. This skywalk will be designed like a zero around the Model Town circle. It will be built towards Chhijarsi by linking the Foot Over Bridges erected near Khora Colony on the Delhi-Meerut Motorway and forming a zero.

Noida Skywalk: Check Timeline, Cost

The skywalk will connect Noida and Ghaziabad. This will help eight lakh individuals, primarily those who are travelling to Noida for work from Delhi, Hapur, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, and Meerut. The skywalk is expected to cost roughly Rs 43 crore to build.

It will be completed within six months. This will make it possible to coming back and forth towards Sectors 62, 63, and Chhajarsi on the Noida side. Escalators will be constructed on the Noida side so that pedestrians can easily climb the skywalk. Aside from that, two elevators would be built at the corners of the Delhi-Meerut motorway.
