Sydney Sweeney Digital Snan Viral Video: Just when you thought the internet couldn’t surprise you anymore, a man from Prayagraj has taken things to a whole new level. In a quirky Instagram reel that’s now gone viral, American actress Sydney Sweeney is seen, not in person, but in photo form, getting a symbolic holy dip in the sacred waters of the Sangam, an act now being called a ‘digital snan’.
The video was shared by content creator Deepak Goel, who has become known for this unique trend. In the clip, he holds up a printed photo of Sydney Sweeney, looks at the camera, and says, “She needs no introduction.” He then gently dips her picture into the river, performing the symbolic ‘snan’ with full sincerity. The video is captioned, “Sydney Sweeney getting digital snan at Sangam, Prayagraj.”
This unusual but hilarious trend of ‘digital snan’ first started during the Maha Kumbh earlier this year. What began as a light-hearted act has now taken social media by storm. Instead of people taking a dip in the holy river themselves, they now dip printed photos of loved ones, students, or even celebrities, as a symbolic offering for blessings.
