Noida Traffic Advisory: The traffic police has announced diversions in view of sewage line work in Greater Noida West. The diversions, which will be in effect from Thursday, December 4, will go on till December 10 between Gaur Chowk and D-mark.

The sewage line work by the Greater Noida authority is being carried out to develop an underpass.

“Traffic from Gaur Chowk to D-mark and vice-versa will be affected due to sewage line shifting work. Vehicles travelling from Gaur City to D-Mart will be diverted to the service lane, while traffic from D-Mart will be diverted via the green belt,” said Pravin Ranjan Singh, deputy commissioner of police (DCP) (traffic), as quoted by a Hindustan Times report.

“The commuters are advised to use the alternative route to avoid congestion,” the DCP added.

Gaur Chowk: Major Junction In Greater Noida West

Gaur Chowk acts as an important junction with heavy traffic movement in Greater Noida West. The junction witnesses vehicular traffic from Crossing Republik, Delhi-Meerut Expressway, Noida, Surajpur.

The Parthala flyover, which opened in 2023 provided some respite to Parthala Chowk however, traffic was diverted to Gaur Chowk.
