Noida traffic police has issued a comprehensive travel advisory, effective from October 1 to 2, for Dussehra and idol immersion. The advisory, effective from 1 pm today, outlines temporary diversions and restrictions on several roads, including Noida Stadium (Sector 21A), Ramlila Ground (Sector 62), and Maharishi Ashram. Emergency vehicles such as ambulances and fire services are exempt from these restrictions.

To ensure public safety and smooth traffic flow during Ramlila and Ravan Dahan, vehicle movement around Noida Stadium will be restricted from 2 pm on October 1 until October 2.

Restricted Routes In Noida 

Sector 12, 22, 56, towards the stadium, to Stadium Chowk.

Sector 10, 21 U-turn towards Stadium to Sector 12/22/56 intersection.

Sector 8, 10, 11, 12 Chowk via Stadium Chowk to Modi Mall Chowk.

Sector 31, 25 Chowk via Sector 21, 25 Modi Mall Chowk to Stadium Chowk, Sector 8, 10, 11, 12 Chowk

Metro Hospital Chowk to Adobe/Reliance Chowk via Sector 12.22 Chowk.

Coast Guard intersection Sector 24 to Sector 12, 22 intersection by taking a U-turn over the NTPC underpass

Sector 32, from the start of the NTPC underpass to Sector 12, 22 intersection.

Sector 20, 21, 25, 26, Jalvayu Vihar Chowk to Sector 21, 25, Modi Mall Chowk to Adobe Chowk.

Sector 22, 23, 24 Thana Sector 24 Tiraha to Adobe/Reliance Chowk, Sector 21, 25 Modi Mall Chowk

Alternative Routes 

Traffic from Rajnigandha Chowk heading towards Sector 12, 22, and 56 Tiraha can proceed via Sector 10, U-turn at Sector 21, Jalvayu Vihar Chowk, Nithari, Sector 31, 25 Chowk, NTPC, and Gijhod.

Traffic from Sector 12, 22, 56 intersection towards Stadium Chowk will be rerouted via Sector 57 intersection, Gizaur Chowk, and Sector 31, 25 Chowk.

Traffic from Sector 12, 22, 56 intersection towards Rajnigandha Chowk will be diverted via Metro Hospital Chowk, Sector 8, 10, 11, 12 Chowk, and Harola/Jhundpura Chowk.

Traffic from DM Chowk and Jalvayu Vihar Chowk heading to Modi Mall Chowk or Adobe/Reliance Chowk will be diverted via Jalvayu Vihar Chowk, Nithari, Sector 31, 25 Chowk, NTPC, and Gizaur Chowk.

Traffic Advisory for Idol Immersion on October 2

Idol immersion will begin at 9 am on October 2 at key points, including the Yamuna River (Kalindi Marg), Hindon River (Kuleshra), and Hindon River near Kisan Chowk. The following traffic diversions will be in place:

Noida-Greater Noida Expressway to Kalindi Border: Vehicles will be diverted from Charakha Gol Chakkar via Dalit Prerna Sthal and then through DND/Chilla.

Sector 37 to Kalindi Border: Traffic will be rerouted from Mahamaya Flyover via Dalit Prerna Sthal.

Surajpur to Kuleshra: Vehicles will take Kachchi Sadak to Chouganpur Circle.

Phase 2 to Hindon River: Traffic will be diverted via Kakrala and then Sorakha-Bisrakh.

Kisan Chowk to Parthala: Vehicles will be rerouted via the Bisrakh route.

Parthala to Kisan Chowk: Traffic will follow the Sorakha-Bisrakh route.

Commuters are advised to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience. Weekly markets along the restricted stretches will remain closed during the festival. For assistance, the public can contact the traffic helpline at 9971009001.
