In a move aimed at making driving tests more accessible, the newly appointed Transport Commissioner, Kinjal Singh, has assured that an administrative decision will be taken to allow women and elderly applicants extra time to complete their driving tests in Noida.

On her first visit to the district, Singh inspected the driving test and vehicle scrapping centres, observing the operations and discussing challenges faced by women and senior citizens. Currently, applicants must pass four driving tests in just three and a quarter minutes, a short duration that often proves difficult due to nervousness or time constraints.
