Noida Traffic Police have issued an advisory for Saturday, December 6, ahead of the Ambedkar Jayanti program at Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal in Sector 95, Noida. The event is expected to draw a large crowd, with attendees arriving from Western Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, and other districts. DCP Traffic Praveen Kumar Ranjan said a route diversion plan has been prepared, and heavy vehicle traffic will be prohibited from 6 a.m. Traffic diversions will be implemented as needed.
Diversion Routes At Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal
1. Goods vehicles from Delhi: Will be diverted via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway from Zero Point, Pari Chowk, Kasna, and Sirsa to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
2. Traffic from Kalindi Kunj, Delhi - Sector 18 Noida / Mayur Vihar: Will be diverted via Sector 37, Attapir Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, and Sector 15 Roundabout.
3. Greater Noida - Noida (via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway): Will be diverted via Mahamaya Flyover to Sector 37, then via Attapir Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, and Sector 15 Roundabout toward Delhi and Ghaziabad.
4. Greater Noida - Sector 18 Noida (via Bird Feeding Tiraha): Will be diverted via Film City Flyover to Sector 18, then via Rajnigandha Chowk, Sector 15 Roundabout, or the elevated Sector 18 Underpass.
5. Noida - Greater Noida: Traffic from Sector 14A Flyover will be diverted via Sector 15 Roundabout, then via Rajnigandha Chowk, Attapir Chowk, and Sector 37.
6. Pari Chowk - Delhi: Traffic will be diverted via Sector 128 cut, service road, and Hajipur Underpass to Sector 62 Model Town.
7. Towards DND: Vehicles using Sector 60 elevated road, Sector 18 Underpass, or Film City Flyover will be diverted via Sector 28 Car Market, Botanical Garden turn-off, Atta Chowk, and Rajnigandha Chowk before rejoining at Sector 18 Underpass.
ADCP Traffic Manisha Singh emphasized that emergency vehicles, including medical and fire services, will be allowed safe passage during the diversions. Commuters are requested to use alternative routes and report any traffic issues to the helpline at 9971009001.
