25,640 farmers in Uttar Pradesh may miss out on the next instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme if they do not create a farmer registry. Only those farmers with a completed registry will be eligible to receive the upcoming fund.
Currently, 28,914 out of 54,554 farmers in the district have created their registry. The farmer registry, launched in 2023, records complete farmer details along with all khasras (land records) and issues a unique registration number.

To ensure no farmer is left out, the Agriculture Department will run a special campaign from October 16 to November 15, setting up camps at Gram Panchayats (village councils). Farmers can register by bringing their Aadhaar card, khatauni (land record), and mobile number. The facility will also be available at Jan Seva Kendras (public service centres).
Assistant Director of Agriculture Rajiv Kumar emphasised that the next instalment of the PM-Kisan fund will be given only to farmers with a completed registry, and urged all eligible farmers to take advantage of the campaign to avoid losing benefits.
This initiative aims to ensure that all eligible farmers receive benefits under central and state government schemes without disruption.
