Railway pensioners will no longer need to visit a bank to submit their life certificate. They can now create and submit their life certificate online from home using their mobile phones through the 'Jeevan Pramaan App'.

This new process allows pensioners to submit their certificates directly from home to ensure the continuation of their pension benefits, saving them from previous hassles.

According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, the "Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0" is currently being conducted. This campaign simplifies the submission process for pensioners and family pensioners.

Traditionally, pensioners were required to visit their bank every November. This campaign provides an online alternative that saves time and is particularly beneficial for senior pensioners. Through this simple process, North Eastern Railway aims to empower its pensioners and streamline the submission of life certificates.

How To Submit The Digital Life Certificate

To participate in this campaign, pensioners or family pensioners must follow these steps:

- Download the AadhaarFaceRD (Early Access) application by UIDAI from the Google Play Store.

- Following this, install the 'Jeevan Pramaan' app, also from the Google Play Store.

- Once both apps are installed, the Operator Authentication screen will open.

- From there, the digital life certificate can be downloaded by following the step-by-step process.
