The North Eastern Railway’s Lucknow Division has completed the construction of an 11-km third line between Ghaghra Ghat, Chaukaghat and Burhwal stations on the Gonda-Burhwal section. For the commissioning of the new line, non-interlocking work will be undertaken from December 2 to 5. A safety inspection by the Commissioner of Railway Safety has been scheduled for December 5.
Due to this, several trains on the Barabanki-Gonda-Mankapur section will be diverted on December 4 via Barabanki-Ayodhya Cantt-Mankapur.
The affected trains include:
-12512 Thiruvananthapuram Central-Gorakhpur Express (Dec 2)
-15212 Amritsar-Darbhanga Express (Dec 3)
-12598 Mumbai-Gorakhpur Express (Dec 3)
-15652 Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Express (Dec 3)
-06529 Sir M Visvesvaraya Bengaluru-Gomtinagar Special (Dec 1)
-15065 Gorakhpur-Panvel Express (Dec 4)
-15707 Katihar-Amritsar Express (Dec 3)
-15066 Panvel-Gorakhpur Express (Dec 3)

Trains to run late
-15653 Guwahati-Jammu Tawi Express (Dec 3 departure from Guwahati) will be delayed by 90 minutes.
-15204 Lucknow Junction-Barauni Express (Dec 4 departure) will also be delayed by 90 minutes.
-15032 Lucknow Junction-Gorakhpur Express will depart 75 minutes late from Aishbagh. This arrangement will remain in effect from November 20 to December 22.
