Shahberi Flyover News: The Greater Noida Authority has approved a flyover connecting Greater Noida's Shahberi and Crossing Republik in Ghaziabad, making traffic between the two areas more convenient. The flyover would reduce traffic congestion and make it easier for travelers to access Jewar International Airport. According to reports, the GRENO will create a detailed project report (DPR) for further processing.

The Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) is preparing the DPR. A team from the CRRI completed an initial site evaluation of the project and will now begin compiling the DPR. The Shahberi flyover would make it easier for travelers to commute from Ghaziabad to Greater Noida International Airport and other western Uttar Pradesh locations. The Greater Noida Authority has approved CRRI's report on the Shahberi flyover. A flyover 3.8 km long and 16 m wide will connect the ITeda roundabout to NH-9, with work set to begin soon.

Many people from western Uttar Pradesh would go through Ghaziabad and Greater Noida to get to the airport due to the upcoming state-of-the-art airport. Therefore, even before the airport is operational, the authorities will endeavor to resolve the road issues. Two elevated road designs, a 14-metre and a 16-metre wide flyover from Ghaziabad to Greater Noida West, were proposed by CRRI. The 16-metre-wide flyover was chosen by the authorities.
