The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign is currently moving at a fast pace. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are going door-to-door to get enumeration forms filled out. Even if a voter's name does not appear in the 2003 voter list but exists in the current list, they are required to fill out and sign the enumeration form. If the voter's parents or grandparents were voters in the 2003 list, their names will be used for mapping purposes.
Notices For Unmapped Voters
Voters whose details cannot be mapped will be issued a notice to provide identification documents (ID) after the voter list is published on December 9. If a voter fails to present one of the 11 prescribed IDs after receiving the notice, their name will be removed from the voter list.
Instructions For Filling the Form
Naib Tehsildar Abhinav Chauhan explained that many individuals who were not voters in 2003 but became voters later must also fill out the form and submit it to the BLO. He noted that some information in the form is optional, such as the parents' voter number; if this information is not known, it can be left blank.
Rules For Married Women And Absentees
Officials clarified that married women must provide details of their parents, not their husbands. Furthermore, if a family member is a registered voter here but is currently residing elsewhere, their guardian can fill out and sign the form on their behalf, clearly mentioning their relationship to the voter.
Officials assured that the form does not request any information that should cause distress. Voters should simply fill in the information they know and hand it to the BLO, who will then upload it to the app.

Challenges Facing BLOs
BLOs are encountering several difficulties, including network issues and instances where booth numbers appear in adjacent assembly constituencies while retrieving online data. To resolve these technical issues, BLOs are coordinating with the election office at the tehsil level.
Efforts are being made to ensure voters are not confused about the process. However, both BLOs and voters are facing inconvenience because, in some instances, enumeration forms for all members of a single family have not been received during distribution.
The 11 Valid Document Options Voters who receive a notice to prove their identity will be required to submit any one of the following documents:
