UP Road Accident: In a devastating accident early Wednesday morning, a car carrying a family returning from Badaun overturned and caught fire after colliding with a culvert near Chandok Dauraha on Jahangirabad Road. Five occupants, including a two-year-old child, were burnt alive in the blaze. A teenage girl miraculously survived the incident and has been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. The deceased have been sent to the mortuary for post-mortem examination.
The victims were identified as members of a family traveling from Chamanpura village in the Sahaswan police station area of Badaun. Tanveez Ahmed, 24, an engineer working with a private company in Delhi, had come to his hometown to attend a family wedding on June 15.
In the early hours of Wednesday, Tanveez was returning to Delhi in a Swift car with his 22-year-old wife Nida (also known as Nigat), his 16-year-old sister Gulnaz, his brother-in-law Zubair Ali (25), Zubair’s wife Momina, and their two-year-old son Zainul. All died in the fire, except for the teenage girl who survived with injuries.

Police were promptly informed and rushed to the scene. The injured girl was taken to the district hospital for treatment, while the charred bodies were sent to the mortuary. Authorities have notified the victims' families.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident, and further details are awaited.
