An Uttar Pradesh man bit off his wife's nose in anger after catching her red-handed with lover in Hardoi's Haryava region. The officials stated that the incident occurred on Wednesday after a heated argument between the wife and the husband post-confrontation. They further stated that the 25-year-old woman got severely injured and was referred to Lucknow for treatment. The police also took the accused into custody and are gathering more information about the case.
While providing details, the officials stated that the incident happened when the 25-year-old woman went to meet her lover in the same village. However, the victim's suspicious husband followed her to the lover's house and caught them red-handed. Ram Khilawan, the accused, confronted her and bit off her nose after a heated argument. The locals gathered around the house after hearing the victim's screams and admitted her to a local hospital; however, she was referred to Lucknow due to the severe injury.
The police officials also arrived at the site and took the accused into custody after receiving complaints from the locals. Additional Superintendent of Police Narendra Kumar stated that the accused has been detained and the case is being investigated from all the possible angles. “Legal proceedings are underway. The case is being investigated from all possible angles,” Kumar was quoted as saying by PTI.
In a separate news, a man in Jaunpur district helped his wife marry her boyfriend at a local temple after she refused to end her affair. Rather than engaging in a dispute, the husband not only facilitated the wedding but also blessed the newlyweds in front of villagers.
The man, Arvind, had married Rita about two years ago. The couple lived in a village under the Sarai Mohiuddinpur outpost. However, it later emerged that Rita had been in a relationship with another man, Yashwant, before her marriage, a relationship she continued even after tying the knot.
