Uttar Pradesh: Starting this new year, plot owners in Lucknow will no longer need to visit the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) office in person to get building plans approved. Under the new building bylaws, property owners can get their documents certified and uploaded online for map approval. The LDA has introduced a fast-track system called Fastpass, designed to speed up map approvals for houses, shops, and other constructions.
What Is Fastpass?
Under the Fastpass system, property owners in Lucknow can now self-approve maps for residential buildings up to 100 sq. meters and commercial buildings up to 30 sq. meters by applying online at map.up.gov.in.
Speaking to Jagran.com, officials said the entire process has been designed to be fully digital, transparent, and user-friendly, simplifying approvals and eliminating the need for in-person visits.
