In a significant development for medical aspirants, Amethi Medical College in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, is likely to commence its MBBS course from the upcoming academic session (2025–26). A proposal to start 100 MBBS seats has been submitted, and a team from the National Medical Commission (NMC) is expected to inspect the institution soon for final approval.
