After rolling out a digital dashboard for Lekhpal (village revenue officers), the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Board has begun developing a similar system for Revenue Inspectors. Once launched, inspectors will carry out revenue-related tasks online, eliminating the need for citizens to visit tehsil offices for income, caste, and residence certificates, among other services.

The Board plans to introduce the new facility by next month. Currently, while a 45-day timeframe has been set for the disposal of citizen services, delays continue due to incomplete digitisation.

To address this, Board Chairman Anil Kumar recently launched the Lekhpal dashboard, under which processes such as income, caste, residence certificates, and proceedings under sections 34, 80, 89, and 98 are now being handled online.

Since approvals granted by Lekhpals also require clearance from Revenue Inspectors, the upcoming dashboard will allow inspectors to review and approve applications digitally. Officials said the move will speed up service delivery, ensure accountability, and free officers from handling physical files, enabling single-click approvals for citizens.
