UP Road Accident:  At least 10 people died in a major accident that took place in Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi on Wednesday. An auto and a DCM collided near Roshanpur on Katra Bilhaur Highway, killing 10 people, including two children, and injuring several others.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police reached the spot as soon as they received the information and began rescue and relief work.

Of the 10 deceased, there were six women, one man, one teenager, and two children. Superintendent of Police Neeraj Kumar Jadoun also arrived after receiving the information. The bodies have not yet been identified.

The district continues to see accidents. A speedy vehicle lost control and struck a tree in the Mallawan region on Monday night, killing one person named Kunhalal and injuring four others. At the same time, an accident that took place Monday night in the vicinity of the Kotwali Dehat and Baghauli police stations claimed the lives of two persons, including a farmer.

On Monday night, a vehicle lost control and struck a tree near Shuklapur on the Mallawan-Mehndighat route, killing one Kunhalal. Others were hurt. The vehicle was entirely damaged in the crash. Police arrived at the scene after receiving information from onlookers and sent the injured to CHC in an ambulance. The doctor referred Narendra, Amit, and Ramchandra to the Lucknow Trauma Centre since their condition was critical.

In other incidents, Gopesh of Bhadeura village in Hariyavan died on Monday evening after being hit by a Bolero at Bamhnakheda on the Hardoi-Lucknow route while coming from his sister's in-laws' house in Rajepur village in Baghauli.

His wife, Shrikant, was hurt. In another incident, Samsapur Amidan from Kachhauna was crossing the road near Bhirighat on Monday evening.
